ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES & GENERAL HOUSEHOLD SALES:
The General Sales are held twice monthly - first and third wednesday, and the sales commence at 10 a.m. Please check our Sales Diary for dates.
Viewing of the inside lots is on the Saturday prior to the sale between 10am and 1pm and the Tuesday prior to the sale between 1pm and 6pm
The twice monthy auctions average 700-800 lots and include Antiques, Modern Furniture and Household effects, Collectables, China, White Goods, Tools, Garden Items, Cycles, Pictures, Books & Collectable Records.
We feel our Auctions could supply you with good quality furniture for your home - Why not come along and see for yourself?
Entries are accepted for four days following each sale - Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Commission is charged at 17.5% + VAT, there are no other fees (i.e. Entry fee, Photography, Catalogue or Insurance)
NO SALE, NO FEE
In the past two years we have successfully sold Collections including Silver, Military Swords, Brittain Die Cast Figures, Dinky Toys and Jewellery.

A TRUE COUNTRY AUCTION
The Auction Room is heated and on site catering is available on Auction day.
SPORTING AND OUTSIDE PURSUITS & VINTAGE TOY AUCTION
We also hold a twice yearly SPORTING auction of Antique and Sporting related items. These are held in the Spring & Autumn, mostly on a Friday commencing at 4pm with prior viewing at 2pm in our sale room at Downham Market.
With the success of our recent Vintage Toy Auction, we hope to hold another in 2017.
We offer a full or part House Clearance service through one of the options provided below, handled by our own experienced staff. A member of our staff will visit the property and discuss, Free of Charge and Without Obligation, the clearance in question.
House Clearance Service
You have the choice:
We will do either, or, but always including viewing and advice of the contents at the property
free of charge.
We will clear your house…
Route/Scheme 1: by agreeing a price that we will either pay you or you pay us to clear, and the goods become our property to do with what we want – will probably go to auction, I take the risk.
Route/Scheme 2: Enter all saleable items in to our next available auction, agreeing reserves if necessary, but charging you commission (17.5% + VAT) and dumping charges for any unsalable items. You take the risk.
Route/Scheme 3: We will come and take your most saleable items and leave you to clear the rest, agreeing reserves on all major items.
We have our own van for collection purposes, which we charge out at cost.
We have been established a few years (about 170!), and always happy to advise.
Charity Starts at Home
This Service is carried out by our experienced staff, at very competative rates. Please ring and ask for a quote.
We offer a Free Verbal Valuation on items brought to our premises or at our Valuation Days. E Mail requests should include a digital photograph.

We also hold a twice yearly Collective Sale of Farm Machinery, Plant and Ancillary Equipment at HILGAY (May & October), plus a yearly auction of Memorabilia at Weeting Steam Engine Rally - 16th July 2016.
Entry forms are availble online and from our office and need to be returned to us at least two weeks before the sale for the entry to appear in the catalogue.
